Michael Healy
has broad background in Defence facilities and is currently the
Assistant Secretary Property Services for the Department of
Defence. His experience includes over 20 years service in the
Army as an engineering officer and 15 years in the Infrastructure
Division of the department.
Michael’s
current role includes the management of over one thousand Defence
property leases and licences, both as lessor and lessee. The
properties include major office and support complexes in Melbourne,
Sydney and Canberra. The Defence lease portfolio also
includes administration centres and living accommodation for
departmental staff posted around the world.
In previous
roles, he has been responsible for the planning and development of
major training and support facilities including the construction of
the first building awarded five green stars by the Green Building
Council of Australia, at RAAF Base Richmond. |
