Senior Consultant, Woods
Bagot
John has worked
for multinational clients such as BP, Roche and Deutsche Bank. With
a background in sociology and psychology, John specialises in
understanding the way people work both individually and
collectively. He has used these skills on a range of projects from
designing R&D laboratories for GlaxoSmithKline to understanding
the complex inter-relationships between the departments of the
British Museum. Other multinational clients include BP,
Roche and Deutsche Bank.
John has a strong research
focus that has seen him contribute to industry research initiatives
for the UK’s Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment
(CABE), and to publish academic articles on the changing nature of
work. His current research includes how changes to the physical
environment impact on how people work, the pre-requisites for
successful mobile working, and the emergence of play as a creative
and productive work activity. Prior to getting involved
in workplace consulting 5 years ago, John worked as a knowledge
manager, data analyst in government, and a
statistician/researcher. |
