Carey
graduated as a civil/structural engineer and practiced in that
profession for a number of years before going into project
management and property development in the commercial property
sector. He was appointed to the position of General Manager of New
Zealand Post Properties in 1992. He has had wide experience with
some 30 years in the property industry initially on the supply side
and latterly on the demand side developing and delivering property
strategy for this major national property user.
Carey is
currently Chapter Chair of CoreNet Global in New Zealand and is
also on the Board of the New Zealand Green Building Council. He was
the Australia/New Zealand Corporate Real Estate Executive of the
year in 2005 and has recently completed the Masters of Corporate
Real Estate. |
