Sue joined
DEGW in April 2008 after fourteen years in project management roles
with the Lend Lease Group in Sydney, most recently as Senior
Consultant and Research Manager for Lend Lease’s corporate real
estate advisory division, Lend Lease Corporate
Solutions.
A chartered
architect with an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of
Management, Sue’s workplace advisory experience includes strategic
briefing and facilitating richer end user involvement in the design
process.
At Lend Lease
Sue was involved in the briefing and stakeholder engagement for two
of Australia’s workplace benchmarks: Lend Lease Interiors’ office
fitout in Australia Square (in conjunction with DEGW) completed in
1995; and Lend Lease’s Sydney headquarters, 30 The Bond, which
opened in 2004 and became the first commercial building in
Australia to achieve a 5 star Green Star rating.
Her ongoing
workplace focus combines sustainability and innovation. As an
accredited Green Star professional she is committed to integrated
whole-building design that supports more sustainable work
practices. Sue is also a member of the Society for Organisational
Learning, Australia, and through her involvement as a Cognitive
Edge practitioner, she is interested in the new field of emergent
strategy to support innovation and change. |
