Lend Lease achieved multi-award winning
recognition for The Bond, the first office building in Australia to
achieve a 5 Star Green Star As Built rating. But this wasn't the
end, it was just a beginning. The Gauge, which
cost less to construct, is the new office
for Lend Lease in Melbourne and is the
first private sector completed new building to achieve a 6 Star
Green Star Design rating from the Green Building Council of
Australia.
Discover the extensive
collaboration and research employed to bring The Gauge into
existence and how lessons learnt from The Bond
informed the
design of The Gauge. Learn how the innovative use of sustainable
technologies such as chilled beam cooling, recycling and gas fired
cogeneration contribute to the overall performance of the building
for the owner and the occupants in a
workplace that responds to the future needs of
organisations.
